Chris moved to Minnesota and became involved in the insurance business in 1993. Originally employed with Principal Financial Group, he started his own brokerage in 1997 to offer his clients more products, and more options.

Born in Texas, raised in Alaska, Minnesota quickly became home since it is both Midwest, and "up North." Chris and his wife Katie (of 20 years), live in Plymouth with their 2 teenage sons.

Chris enjoys bicycle riding, training hunting dogs (Weimaraner), hunting birds, downhill skiing, and smoking a good cigar when he's not talking on the phone or meeting with people.

He provides unique insight and understanding of the Health Savings Account (HSA) to his clients in the individual and small group market. He has been a pioneer in promoting the HSA to help individuals and small groups control their health care cost without compromising the quality of their health care.

Clay and his wife Rochelle with their 5 children, live in the Andover area where they are all involved in various recreational and community activities. They are members of St. Stephens Catholic Church. Clay and Rochelle enjoy many outdoor activities and Clay and his children all enjoy hunting every fall.

Clay and Rochelle were both raised and started their family in Alaska. All five of their children were born in Alaska and spent the first part of their lives in the Anchorage area.

Clay worked 16 years working for International Corporations up to the Senior Management levels, and has owned various small businesses. He has served 18 years as a Military Officer in the Guard and Reserves and is still active as a LTC. After 27 years of as an on ice Hockey Official, working NCAA and Semi-Pro level, Clay now refs. Men's league at Fogerty Ice Arena.

These combined experiences bring an understanding of human relation and emotions combined with the business understanding of maximizing revenues while controlling expenses. Benefit packages typically make up the number two expense item in a small companies income and expense statement.
My understanding of the health and life insurance industries, combined with my business experience, provides me the insight of understanding the proprietor's need as well as the desires and needs of the employees.
